Hi John,

I have a Kam. I'm not sure what you are asking. When you set the beacon
the first figure, if I remember right, is the VHF side and the second is the
HF side. And yes, you go in 1 second increments. So, to have it beacon on
VHF once per hour, you would set

Beacon 60/0

If you want it to not go off at all, just set beacon 0/0.

I hope that helps. Good luck and very 73.

Kevin :)

Subject: KAM questions

Does anyone on packet here use the KAM? if so I'm having a problem with my
beacon, I thought it was in settings of 1 to 250 in 10 second intervals but
mine doesn't seem to be, I have mine maxed out and it's going off well, 3
times today that I know of. Anyone know what that might be? I think it's 1
minute is 1, 2 minutes is 2 on this one but want to be sure before I mess it
up.
