I have a question for anyone on the list who has an FT-470.
How do you check repeater shift and PL tones? I replaced the battery on my
old FT-470 HT and haven't been able to access any repeaters with it. I am
thinking the problem is just a simple programming issue such as PL tones or
repeater shift. However, I don't have any useable vision to check the
display screen and see where the tones or repeater shift are set. I live in
a 3-story apartment and am living on the 2nd floor. While I am inside, I
can receive signals ok, but can't transmit to repeaters. Can anyone
recommend other things I could check for? Thanks in advance.

Eric
