I believe some one on here has the buddy pole antenna, I'm curious, I'm
looking for an HF portable antenna, that covers more then I will need, but
looks like something I might like, I'm down to 3 all pricy so I only get 1
shot, do I have to adjust this one for each band change? or is it good for
most of what it covers with out a change? I have a tuner if I need it, or
I'll be ordering the tuner later this week anyway, I'll mainly use it for 6
through 40 meters. Thanks, like I say I don't have much money, I'm way over
budget already so this is something I have to get right first try unless I
decide to build something which is very likely, I might even look for my old
portable 80 meter loop that I spliced coax to the end of the ladder line
with no ballem and had working a few years ago on vacation on all bands.
That's buried in the attic right now though and I think I had RF problems
with that one though it was in the room with me so that had a lot to do with
that, I'll never put that in the same room with me again lol. Thanks, if
anyone else has good portable HF antenna suggestions, I'd appreciate it. 2
meters I'm covered if I want it and 440 really doesn't matter around here
but I'll make the 2 meter antenna a duel bander when I make that one.
