KJ,

Glad your Dad's surgery went well! Keep us up to date.

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Subject: My Dad

Hi

Dad's back had gotten worse since his accident on the Fourth of July.
Surgery went fine. He was called in at 6 A.M. and they got him ready
and off to surgery around 8. It took about 45 min. He got to his room
around 10 and all he could say was the pain was gone and it hurt in a
different spot. The doctor said that was normal but said he was very
fortunate with the injury not being more serious with this accident. He
is lucky he can walk. Dad only had to stay in the hospital overnight ,
so, he came home yesterday,

Kathy
