I've had a similar problem going on over at one of the work benches, however
it's the cable and not the monitor or video card. I just wanted to mention
this as an alternative item to check. Mine is the cable right where it goes
into the connector that hooks up to the vga card. If I move the cable a bit
and perhaps relieve a bit of the strain on it, the color snaps back to full.
Just a little aside to check.
Best of Luck
