Hi,
A friend came over with an HP Pavillion- 333 celeron w/ 64 megs and a 4 gig
hd, running windows 98se. It was working fine, she shut it down, started up the
next day and got a blinking cursor. I tried to run the recovery disk but got
nowhere. I threw in a new 40 gig harddrive and was able to load the the whole
thing on the hd, but when I started up I got an error message "Invalid VxD
dynamic link call to device number 3, service B. Your windows configuration is
invalid. Run Windows setup program again to correct this problem."
I tried to get into the bios, using del on startup, but I was unsuccessful.
Is this normal with HP?
I tried loading XP pro, but after loading it in, I got an error number 4
message.
Any ideas?
