So when is flu season supposed to be over? If it is dependant on good
weather, we are going to be waiting a long time. :)

Yeah, the strain types are "A" and "B" this year. There is a type "C",
but it's not common. The "bird flu", or H5N1 virus, is type "A". The
H5 stands for the fifth order of hemagglutinin protein and the N1 stands
for the first order of neuraminidase protein (useless info, I know).
This year's most common variety is A(H1N1) but it didn't show up on the
hit list for some reason. I'd hate to be on the panel that has to
determine what ingredients are going to be in the next year's "soup", as
you put it.
