Hello,
I had my visit at Kennedy Krieger today. I do not have CP and my x-rays of my neck and hips were normal. I do have tight Achilles tendons, but not tight enough to justify tendon lengthening surgery. I'm assuming that's why I prefer to be up on my toes most of the time when I'm sitting or standing still (he didn't say and I didn't think to ask.)
he said there is the possibility of spinal abnormalities so I need to get an MRI next Wednesday. After that he will call me and let me know what's going on. in the meantime, I am not supposed to do the PT stretches, just in case there is something about my spine that's an issue.
thanks for all your patience and feedback. If you don't mind, I will stay on this list a little longer until I figure out what is going on.
thanks,
Mary Katherine
