Many of the children with tonal issues either low, high or spasiticity have
some sort of reflux whether the throwing up kind or more subtle kind that
adults can get that contributes to asthma, sinusitis and ear infections.
You'll have to find a pediatric gastroenterologist that is willing to work
with you as reflux has many causes, sometimes it's food allegeries,
sometimes medication, sometimes structural. Keep a chart of when he
refluxes, make sure he sits up right for at least 30 minutes ever meal, Have
him assessed for feeding, how well is he chewing his food, how well is
swalllowing his food, does it help to feed several small meals a day, etc

I've been reading more about botox and that it can be a side effect but he
had it before botox. Anyone know if reflux is related to CP? It's worse
when he is under stress.
