Bonnie -
Don't relegate yourself to lurkdom - we have a professional one of those already (Bruce, you know who you are :-)). Besides, you are not along in knowing next to nothing about preservation/restoration of historic properties. My closest link is I spent 7 years renovating a house, but not to anyone's specs but a former marine. Besides, I'm very closely related to Gab, which really explains my presence on this list, since I practically NEVER stay on topic.

PS - your weeks will become years, I'm sure.

At any rate, for at least the few weeks that I'll probably stay here, since I really am- or need to be a lurker, since I know next to nothing about preservation/restoration of historic properties.. I guess I'm the first (?) "Presto-Shrinko". <wink again> I do hope that if this foray into "introductions" isn't too far off of list topics...
