The LED light could be yellow as long as there is a light. Try only
connecting power supply, motherboard, CPU with heat sink & fan, RAM, and
monitor (assumes using on- board video). If a video card is needed for
the monitor, do not install the card and monitor. This configuration
should get you through the initial POST and give a single beep when
completed. If there are other series of beeps before the POST completes,
the number of beeps indicates what the problem is and depends on the
type of BIOS. If the POST does not complete and there are no beeps, the
motherboard could be bad out of the box which is not unheard of. If the
POST does complete, then start adding on the other components.
