Try www.crucial.com or other memory sites and enter the information about
your computer. They will have guaranteed compatible memory. It will be more
costly than generic but should be less than getting it direct from the
computer manufacturer.

I have a Compaq PIII 450 running on 64 megs of ram. The machine serves my
purposes but I need more memory. I tried generic memory, but it would not
boot up. Getting proprietary memory is so costly, I cannot justify it. I
would appreicate any suggestions.
