Anyone have success easing gout pain with cherries? My father is
experiencing excruciating gout pain. He already studiously avoids high
purine foods -- which incidentally I do not believe does anything
whatsoever for a gout sufferer. He is a case in point. Dr. Wolfgang Lutz
also discusses this in Life Without Bread -- the oft recommended low purine
diets do not prevent gout or necessarily ease gout pain. Any paleo ideas
out there for gout?
