I read all of my monthly medical ophthalmic journals and from all of the
articles and research I have read I only feel a few hold merit in helping
vision/eye health.  Omega 3 FA,   zeaxanthin and lutein.
The later 2 listed are carotenoids.  They are concentrated in the portion of
the retina called the macula which is where our 20/20 vision is located.  The
foods that contain the highest concentration of them are yellow fruits and
vegetables and dark green leafy vegetables (highest in kale, spinach and collards
greens)
