There are studies quoted in Sally Fallon's book that state that
societies which ate a lot of *raw* dairy had healthy bones, and
when they switched to pasteurized dairy, they got
osteoporosis.  The Masai seem to do okay on a lot of milk.

After you pointed that out about the ice age and frozen meat, I
laughed out loud too.
