i completely agree with his attitude of not taking the theory of evolution
of one species into an another as a fact and his observation that there is
no evidence for it .
we still don't know what makes a species unable to reproduce with an other
one ! would it not makes sense if variations inside species was making a
continuum in time , that such "barrier " will not be so hermetically close
.when along evolution a species decide to close its door and become A
species .

i think as long we stay with our notions of time and space we are not going
to makes any progress in understanding how evolution works .

I am living in the gulf island of british colombia made of many islands (
species ) that share many, many common caracteristics about their geology
,ecology , climate etc.... there is some difference from one to another in
forms, sizesetc... that makes each one unique ....

but it will never comes to the mind of an observer to believe because they
share so much that they evolved one from another .

species are like bubles coming at the surface of the giant soup of the gene
pool, they come and goes genes recombine and arise as a differente species
every time they reach the surface .

what we see at the surface of the soup don't tell us much about how the soup
cames about .

science by narrowing the focus of observation miss the real understanding of
the whole . too bad that scientists get the arrogance they undertand
something when they link together two phenomenas , when they establish a
relationship somewhere, sometimes .
considering the interrelationship of every point of the universe in time and
space , to get one connection established don't makes for a lot of
understanding .

one thing known give rise to 10 000 new unknowns

what have been done in name of religions was bad enough but science is even
worse in its applications, in its acting out of its beliefs .( for me the
GMO craze is the at the summit of the arrogance of believing in evolution )

by the way not believing in evolution doesn't makes me a creationist either
. life is a lot more richer than that .

PS you don't have to believe in evolution to believe in species specific
diet
