My daughter takes OS-CAL chewable calcium tablets. She takes 2 a day.
From what I am told, some kinds of calcium absorb better than others, and
some are not a safe for children. The ones my daughter takes are very
large, but the are chewable and have a "Bavarian Cream" flavor. I have
called the manufacturer, and they assure me that it is milk-free. So far
she hasn't had any problems.
