Hi
We just have a small prayer request about chris's homecoming. We found
out yesterday how much tuition will be for one marking period at Calvary
Chapel. It's a bit steeper than we were expecting. We aren't seeing this
as a closed door, but as an opportunity to pray about the situation. We
see three possibilities before us. The school could give us a break,
either out of mercy or as a pastor's discount like at Bangor
Christian. The Lord could give us the go ahead and supply the necessary
funds. The Lord could close this door because He has another place in
mind. Please pray that we will be sensitive to the Lord's leading in this
matter. He loves Chris even more than we do and has plans for him that we
do not know of. He knows where He wants chris. Pray that we, his parents,
will listen well.
Also, we've had two more conversations with Chris since Monday and they
went pretty well. He was a bit edgy on Tuesday night, but he keeps stating
that he is very anxious to get home.
The biggest project in his room is to put in the dropped ceiling and light
fixture. Otherwise, most of the work is cosmetic. Oh yah, the closet
molding needs to be installed yet. It's amazing how much time this is
taking. We're also starting to search second hand stores for a bed and
night stand for his room, but that part isn't necessary.
Thank you for all the continued prayers. I know that God will get us
through all of this.
Kathy
Always for His glory!
