For those in Denver, and those interested in hearing about it, besides
trying to remove Merry Christmas from the lighting on the government
buildings downtown, and besides refusing one of the largest churches in
Denver to put a float into the parade, there is an update. Faith Bible
Chapel, the Charismatic church of 5000 members who was refused to put
singing people on a float with a sign that only read Merry Christmas, is
going down tomorrow night with hundreds, if not thousands, of their people
to walk the parade route singing Christmas carols and passing out hot
chocolate drinks to the buy standers. They will do this in advance of the
beginning of the parade. Many other churches have heard about it and called
Faith Bible Chapel and said they would bring their members too walk the
parade route to sing with them so who knows how many Christians will show
up. Pray for them because people on the side lines, some anyhow, are going
to make fun of them and will heckle them.
Phil.
