I think you misunderstood me.  I'm planning to vote for Kerry, and was trying to explain why I didn't feel that his personal views on abortion were inconsistent with my politics.  I agree with you that four more years of Bush's policies will be disastrous for reproductive freedom.  That's one of (many) reasons why I plan to vote against him.  I feel that a vote for anyone other than Kerry is effectively a vote for Bush.
