Oh it's much worse than simply an etiquette faux pas. Failure to
appropriately trim is a violation of the B-P on ICORS Terms of Service.
"Please conserve space; trim quoted material from previous posts to the
minimum necessary to get the meaning across when replying...." You are
wasting resources. Therefore, persons failing to trim will be punished
by NOT being unsubscribed and thus be forced to continue to wade through
all of this.

And in a historical aside, under USENET conventions top-posting is
considered very poor form and a gross violation of netiquette. Preserve
USENET!
