Hi,

I am thinking of getting a vhf ssb station after a bit of an absence from
the bands.

Last time, I had a kenwood ts-790 which I liked.

So, has anyone used the ts-790 and ts-2000 and how do they compare
for accessibility and performance.

I currently have an icom ic-821 which I am not totally happy with as the
menues e.t.c. do not seem very accessible and also, there is no direct
frequency entry.

I know that the ts-2000 covers hf as well but, I think I would keep my
existing hf setup.

One thing I seem to have found in a review is that you cannot listen to
ssb on two bands so, I presume I could not listen on 144.3000 and
432.2000 ssb at the same time?

Any comments welcome.

Thanks

Keith
