which version of the free acrobat reader are you using?
and which screen reader?
As i posted already, i have not run into very many pdf files that jaws wont
read using the latest acrobat reader unless they are a scanned image.

All my school textbooks are in PDF format and just altering the reading
options helps many times to sort of clear up the tables and change the
formatting to help jaws and you understand what's going on.
