Hi Ryan,
This list is a great place to learn more about a great hobby, especially
for the blindness related stuff. Also the internet itself is a great
resource. Almost every dealer, manufacturer, organization, and many
regular hams have web sites that cover everything from theA. B. C's to the
high tech stuff.
You mentioned an interest in field day. It's coming up near the end of
June. Try and hook up with a local club that is running a field day
station. You may find new aspects of the hobby that you never dreamed of.
