The two conversion sites used to be:

[log in to unmask]

and

[log in to unmask]

However, it's been a long, long time since I've sent anything off to either,
so I don't know whether they're still in operation. Note, though, that the
later versions of the Acrobat Reader do permit saving a file in text, so you
should be able to do this on your own by pressing ALT+F and finding the
option.

To have PDF files presented as one continuous page, press CTRL+K to open the
Preferences; in the list of things that can be adjusted, press R or use the
arrow keys to go to Reading; then, TAB and look for a check box labeled
"Deliver document in pages when document exceeds" and check it; TAB once
more and in the edit field, enter some huge number (I use 9999). Save the
settings and this should force all documents to be sent as one continuous
stream, since you've said that you don't want individual pages unless the
document is at least 10,000 pages in length.

Note: I only have Adobe Acrobat Professional on my system here at work, so
this might be slightly different on the Reader application, but it's the
same general idea.

Subject: pdf issues

Hi;
I have been trying to look at some antenna info which unfortunately is in
pdf. I am using the accessible version of acrobat version 6.0.
Unfortunately I get the info one page at a time which makes saving it as a
txt file rather difficult. I am certain that there is a menu option that
allows me to adjust the length of the doc so the whole lovely thing comes at
once rather than page by page. But, you guessed it, after looking through
the lovely menus I haven't found what I'm looking for. any suggestions?
Also, there was a site to which you could send a pdf document and
supposedly they returned a txt file. Does anyone have the address?
Thanks in advance
Rich
