The Paleolithic Prescription describes early man as 'jogging' long
distances as he hunts down game by wearing it down.
I've had long talks with a weight trainer, between lifts, and he would
agree with wildtrout that intensive, infrequent weight lifting is the
best overall exercise. Aerobic exercise gets your lung to a certain
capacity rather quickly; after that there really aren't any gains as
there are in weight training.
