Although G.B. Shaw wasn't exactly a "health guru," he was an outspoken
advocate of vegetarianism, and died at age 97 from injuries sustained
when he fell from a tree that he had climbed. From the look of him, he
also practiced caloric restriction. John Harvey Kellogg, who certainly
did qualify as a "health guru" and all-around oddball (also a
vegetarian), made it to 91. Vilhjalmur Stefansson lived to 88, and was
definitely a health guru, or at least a diet guru.
