Somehow I didn't get the right message out. Here it is - -
I have a DELL desktop, Optiplex GX200 Rv A04 Phoenix Technologies.
On startup, I press F2 and wait until it enters setup.
I scroll down to BOOT SEQUENCE and enter.
I USED TO have - -floppy, HD0, CDrom. While trying to change the order
to - -floppy, CDrom, HD0 I hit some?? key and now the startup is
FLOPPY and I can enable/disable by hitting the space bar.
I found 3 little pin jumpers " SWC SAFE Bios " I change the bios plug,
but it's still the same. I cannot go back to the original settings.
Several readers gave me leads to Dell's sites on their computers, including
mine, but nothing on BIOS setup. Thanks to all who answered my call
for help. AL SMITH
