Rhonda,

Of course keeping the faith of and in God is the answer, allowing peace to
rule no matter what the circumstances seem to show is what will get you
through, however I too always like to find anything I can do in a situation
to help, and that seems to me that Ben can take comfort  in his willingness
to go the extra mile, to make up time lost from appointments, to see the
positive in his behavior which are signs of a good employee, making him
more attractive in confidence to his future employer. It will all work out,
no matter what things seem like in the moment.
