Hi Jerry;
A remark supposedly came from a YAESU employee that suggested that "I didn't
think those blind people could afford those high priced radios".
Now keep in mind that the remark is paraphrased and, I did not personally
hear the remark.
However, I owned a VX5R and when I spoke with YAESU's tech support, they
were not interested in hearing any suggestions about making the radio more
accessible.
For these reasons, I would not purchase a YAESU product.
