As Buddy said it's important to use good judgment and look at the feedback
record of the seller.

I have been a buyer on Ebay for quite a few years with no problems so far.
Ive purchased software, hardware and a variety of non computer stuff at
good prices.  My biggest caveat is that if an item appears far too good to
be true then it just might be a problem deal and possibly bogus goods.
