Hi Dan,
I have owned a TH-F6A since October of 2001. It is an extremely accessible
radio. The ctcss, memories, power, splits frequency, and more can be set
without sighted assistance. The learning curve is a slight bit steep in the
beginning but once you get used to things you will find using the radio
intuitive and easy.
