Two days ago I asked for help to locate a GF/CF probiotic to help me
now that I'm on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. Many thanks to all
those who responded--your replies were extremely helpful and I'm most
grateful. Summary follows:

Suggested probiotics included Natren <http://natren.com>
Lactobacillus Acidophilus (approved for SCD) at
<www.kirmanlabs.com
                                                           Culturelle--Jarro Dophilus Original at <www.culturelle.com>
(contains 15 ppm
                                                                        whey)
Dom's water kefir (type in google, will find web site)
                                                           Soloray acidophilus

Other comments included a suggestion to take a probiotic a day, along
with one L-glutamine and avoid
        cow's milk entirely.

And a special thanks to Kay who provided me with lots of information on
the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. More
information on those who might be interested in looking at this diet
can be found at <scdiet.org> or
      <www.breakingtheviciouscycle.com>

Thank you again for all your supportive words. Not one of you scolded
me or questioned whether I was completely gluten-free. Of course I am
compulsively gluten-free, like the rest of you. My good friend tells
me my life is like a Jerry Seinfeld episode, LOL.

Sue
