The start of my question to the group was - -
My OS is Win2k with an ASUS mobo, P4S800, and Logitech keyboard
with extra buttons. Every so often (once in 2 weeks or twice in one day )
I would lose the features or the keyboard!!
Well it happened again!
The solution ! While doing something in DEVICE MANAGER, I saw
KEYBOARD and clicked to expand it. Lo and behold there was TWO keyboards listed!! I uninstalled BOTH in device manager, then used the CD
to install the new keyboard. I assume that every so often the computer would
select the wrong program, and voila, no keyboard. It's been a week without trouble, so, I guess it's fixed. Thanks to all. AL SMITH
