Tom,
I did as you suggested and downloaded the Tweak UI and I am back in
business. Thanks.

If you have "Tweak UI" (free) from Microsoft, you can open it and go to my
computer/drives and make sure that the drives you want to see in my computer
are checked.

I have somehow modified a setting somewhere that has affected My Computer
and it now does not recognize any USB drives (My Computer no longer lists
the drives).
I know the drive is properly connected becasue in Windows XP on my Compaq
laptop I can access and explore the drive in "Control Panel," "Performance
and Maintenance," "Administrative Tools," "Computer Management," under
"Storage," "Disk Management"
What do I need to do to fix My Computer so these disk drives properly show
in the windoe?
Thanks.
