Good morning,
I have a Conexant HCF V90 56K RTAD Speakerphone PCI Modem in my
computer, a Dell Dimension L800r with 512 megs of ram, running at 800
MHz. My operating system is WinME. I have never been able to connect
to my ISP at any speed greater than 28.8. In fact, I cannot hear on
the
speaker that the modem is even attempting to negotiate a connection
higher than 28.8. Can I do anything that will increase the speed of
the
connection?
The modem is on COM4. I have the maximum speed set at 115200, 8-N-1.
The driver is comm.drv. When I run the diagnostics I get:

I don't know what all of that means but it might help.
Thanks...
