Hi Barb,

Theoretically it could be anything, including the video card, the cable or
the monitor. The best way to approach it is to try the simplest things
first. Trying a different monitor (borrow one from a friend?) is the easiest
since nothing has to be take apart. If you still have the problem, the video
card would be suspect.

My guess would be the monitor though, they are usually the least reliable
component.

I have a desktop computer running windows ME.  My Monitor keeps changing
colors to a bright pink.  Then a little latter it changes back to white.
Does this mean I have a monitor going out or a video card?  Or is something
else causing this?  thanks for your response, Barb
