Have you tried BORIC ACID?? It's a white powder that works great on roached! They crawl through it and die shortly after.     AL SMITH

Those sprays say they eat plastic, (some types)... - maybe even rubber...
Can you remove the computer parts in question to another area and spray
them with something else - a little safer - as sort of a "spot" treatment?
