Subject: Dire Prayer Need
Dear Victor,
I was wondering if you could send this to your e-mail list at FBCW.
There is a woman in our church's singles ministry with a dire prayer need.
Her name
is Amy Abernathy. For the past 2 1/2 years, Amy has suffered from a
mysterious, undiagnosable
illness. She has constant, chronic pain throughout her body. She has
continuous headaches
and nausea. Her symptoms also include shooting pains and spasms, as well as
severe
and sometimes debiliatating tension in her muscles. She has seen many
doctors, who
performed a battery of tests, but there has been no definate diagnosis of
her condition.
The nausea is so great that she can only eat a vegetarian diet. The best
possibilities
are these: Mercury Poisoning, Multiple Schlerosis, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, or
some other
(possibly unknown) auto-immune disorder. She has lost her savings and her
insurance
as a result of this condition, and is limited in the amount she can work.
Please pray for her for the following:
(1)That God's Perfect Will will be done in her life in and through this
suffering.
(2)That God will lead her on a clear path to a diagnosis and treatment of
this condition
(3)That God would continue to provide for her needs as she deals with the
debilitating
nature of this ailment
Some members of our church have created a website to provide more
information about
Amy, and provide updates on her. It is at
http://friendsofamy.tripod.com
.
Please pass this along to other believers that you have on your e-mail
lists, whether
they are a part of our church or not. Prayer is the work here that will
bring her
to recovery, as she has experienced a great deal of disappointment from many
who
have tried to physically help her.
I really appreciate anything you can do to get this message out, and for all
your
efforts every week with the sermon notes.
In Christ,
Frank Ready
