Sometimes it pays to step away from the problem for a moment. After taking that moment to send my posting on the lack of cartridge filling instructions from Versaink, a very dim bulb lit up the dark recesses of my slow functioning brain. It slowly dawned on me that the refill instructions would be the same for any BCI-24 refill as it is for magnetic ink. Having never used a refill, I Googled and found a site http://www.printer-ink-refill.net which gives you clear concise instructions along with pictures (which I need) for every refillable cartridge. Hope this is helpful for anyone having similar problems. Thanks to all who responded or are investigating my problem.
