Hi Terry,
Writing software using speech recognition is possible but difficult. From my
experience, it does take a lot of configuration. However, you may want to
ask this question on the voice code mailing list.

Subject: Using Naturally Speaking to write software applications.
Greetings!
Does anyone have any experience or know of anyone who is using Naturally
Speaking to write software applications? I have a customer who needs to use
voice recognition due to his disability. His major is computer science. He
will begin in the fall.
I would like to talk with you or your contact about what you are doing to
make it a positive experience.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Terry A. Martin, MS Ed
