Amy,

We did a couple nursing home music things. I can tell you they really
appreciate it much. I was one of those who lost sight later in life.
Diagnosed with RP at 26 and gradually declining to light perception now.
Our fellow resident MASH enthusiast Kathy might straighten me out on this
quote by one of the cast members who quoted something like...

"A coward dies many times over but the valiant tastes death but once"

Having RP with a decline of sight and loosing things I could no longer do
gave me the coward scenario, kept dying inside over and over and over,
until I realized to live life as best I can and could and not let it stop
me anymore. So now I try to live life valiantly. Glad to see you have
adjusted. Nothing is too late or impossible for God. I do not put it past
him to heal me, yet do not let that thought be my God anymore either. He
has healed me just as he has saved me. Some days it may not feel like it
but one day it will all be experienced in it's fullness and entirety for
eternity. If he chooses to heal me before I taste that valiant day fo death
here on earth, I'll not be disappointed for sure.
