But you see "typically developing" infants and children have a gut that matures. Immuno-compromised often do not. Leaky gut persists in many allergic patients.
My son also has leaky kidneys. Protein and blood are present inhis urine-a benign hematuria, and always ALWAYS worse when he has had a reaction of some kind or a cold or fever.
