And you didn't even know I was gone.
Well, five days ago, openbook corrupted my video drivers and the machine
would keep rebooting and rebooting, so I couldn't use it.
So I had to bring it in and get new drivers installed.
Plus, I really learned a lesson.  At least on my machine, if you interrupt
the receiving of messages, even though you have some of them, they will all
keep sending again.  Last night when I brought the computer back, I had
almost 800 messages.  So after I got five hundred of them, I disconnected,
thinking I would wait till later in the night when the net was less busy.
So here comes 500 more messages plus the other three hundred.  Besides all
this, I the box in outlook express that says, "group Messages by
Conversation" wouldn't work even though I had checked it.  So with all the
lists I am on, I couldn't delete messages by topic.
What a mess.
Well I have read or deleted and gon through all 2000 messages or whatever it
was.
Now, hopefully to get on to normal email.
Boy, a lot has happened on this list just in the last six days or so.
