Kathy,
I'm so happy they are finally pouring the cement. I am always around when
we are having any cement work done. It's fun to watch it and think about
how God works the foundation for our lives.
I just love reading your posts about this project. It brings back memories
of when we built the house in Manchester.
Today they will finish the foundation made of cement footings and then the
blocks. I guess the old blocks didn't have wholes in them for the rebar,
but these new ones that Vernon bought have holes in them. lol. They used
the old blocks on the bottom, and the new ones on the top. Then they will
backfill with dirt, and we'll have to get a packer machine to pack it all.
This is for our front portch.
I'm not sure if they will use any gravel or not.
Keep us posted how it goes.
Lovings!
