Brad,
How interesting! We had point charts for our kids when they were
younger too. The kids could earn up to ten points a day. The kids knew
what was expected of them and we really made a big deal if they got all
ten points. I can't even remember what all the points were for now. I
think that one was for saying the bible verse that we were working on
that week, another was for picking up after themselves, homework, chore
and so on. The kids really liked it, but that kind of thing seems to
ware down around age twelve or so. Poor Caleb, we have really gotten
laxx with him. Oh the fun of a baby later in life. Fortunately, he has
a pretty sunny disposition and a cooperative nature. Good thing for us!
I'm not sure that I'll have the energy to maintain strict discipline by
the time he hits his teen years.
Kathy, who is feeling rather old today I guess! (SMILE)
