Tom,
Why don't you use the shortcut key of the letter F from Internet Explorer to
find the first form field. Subsequent presses of f will move you to the next
form field, and shift F will move you in reverse. When you want to activate
forms mode, just press enter. To go back to the PC cursor, just press the
plus key on your numpad. There is a different shortcut key to go back to the
pc cursor in a laptop mode, but you'd need to look it up on your JFW
instructions as I think it depends on which laptop keyboard you use, either
the traditional one or the alternative layout which are both provided in JFW.

Subject: getting into "forms mode" with laptop
Hi, all.
As many of you know, I'm working with a laptop, so I have a portable
computer to use for meetings, etc.
I have run into a problem which really puzzles me:
How do you get into "forms mode" when on the Internet, for purposes of
filling out some kind of "on line" form?
On my desktop PC, I just hit the "left mouse click" key, which is the second
key in on the top left of the number pad.
This laptop has no such key.
For information purposes, I'm using Jaws 5.0, Windows XP, and Internet
Explorer.
The laptop is a Presario 1215.US.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
