Hi Christy,
I can't help you on the Yaesu.  I had a friend look your call up on QRZ.  I
see you got your previous call in the mid west.  I was born in Florida and
will likely be back down there by September of next year.  The last place in
Florida I lived was Casselberry.  I have an idea we will be in the
Gainesville area.  I have seen your name on another list, perhaps buddy-l or
somewhere.  I assume you were talking about the SMA connecter.  It is a bit
delicate, I have been told.  I am using a Kenwood THF6A and it has that type
connector.  So far, I have only used the stock antenna on it.  Keep smiling.
