Hi Don,
I am using the B&K 160/10.  It does well from 75 to 10 meters.  Not very
well on 160.  It is a folded dipole.  It requires 2 guy ropes on each end to
support it.  I have never used the G5RV, so can't compare the 2 antennas.  I
have been told the B&K is used my many embassies around the world because it
can tune the whole HF band.  I hope this helps.  73.
