    Walt:

Press the "menu" button.  It's the one in the middle of the round circle on
the front of the rig.  Once you've pressed the "menu" button, use your
tuning knob to count clicks.  The menus start at menu 1, which is marked by
a low beep.  Count up to 19, although keep in mind that, for some reason,
menu 4 isn't in the sequence.  Once you get to 19, move the "menu" button up
or down to get your options.  Again, I think the "default" setting is "on",
which should be indicated by the low beep.  Try this, and if it's the other
setting, you should be able to figure that out via the process of
elimination.

I think Lynn has given you some instructions for a "menu" re-set, but try
this first.
